Solar wind primarily consists of ionized hydrogen (H+), helium isotopes (primarily He2+ with a mix of 3He and 4He), and trace amounts of heavier ions like O6+ and Fe10+. This plasma streams from the Sun at hundreds of kilometers per second, shaping the heliosphere and interacting with planetary magnetic fields.
