Magna Petra Corp. and ispace-EUROPE Sign $22M Payload Service Agreement to Deliver NASA’s MSOLO Instrument to the Lunar Surface

Luxembourg – October 7th 2025— Magna Petra Corp., the company building the world’s first 100-year Helium-3 supply chain, today announced the execution of a $22 million Payload Service Agreement (PSA) with ispace-EUROPE S.A., a Luxembourg-based subsidiary of ispace, inc. Under this agreement, ispace-EUROPE will deliver NASA’s Mass Spectrometer Observing Lunar Operations (MSOLO) instrument to the Moon aboard the Mission 3 micro-rover, forming part of Magna Petra’s HALO (Helium Availability of Lunar Origin) reconnaissance mission.

The MSOLO payload, developed at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, will enable high-precision detection of volatiles and isotopes—including Helium-3—embedded in the lunar regolith. These measurements are essential for validating Magna Petra’s AI-driven “digital twin” models of isotope concentration and distribution, paving the way for the first scalable Helium-3 resource mapping of the lunar surface.

Under Magna Petra’s Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, this mission represents a major milestone in uniting government innovation with private-sector execution. The collaboration integrates NASA’s proven instrumentation, ispace’s mission heritage, and Magna Petra’s proprietary LunarPro™ extraction and modeling systems, advancing the establishment of a sustainable Helium-3 supply chain capable of future sample return and resource recovery.

Engineering and operations for the Mission 3 rover will be led by ispace-EUROPE in Luxembourg, which has adapted the rover to accommodate MSOLO and manage all surface operations. The rover will be deployed to the Moon aboard ispace technologies U.S. (ispace-U.S.)’s APEX 1.0 lander, demonstrating seamless coordination between ispace-EUROPE and ispace-U.S. teams.

“This collaboration with ispace and NASA marks a turning point in the realization of a commercial Helium-3 economy,” said Jeffrey Max, CEO of Magna Petra Corp. “Helium-3 is the critical fuel that will power both clean fusion energy and quantum computing at scale. With HALO, we are taking the first tangible step toward securing this resource for humanity’s next century of progress.”

Julien Lamamy, CEO, ispace-EUROPE, added: “ispace was founded to enable commerce beyond Earth. Our partnership with Magna Petra exemplifies how lunar resource development can drive real-world economic and technological growth, helping lay the foundation for a sustainable cislunar economy.”

Elizabeth Kryst, CEO, ispace-U.S., noted: “Flying NASA’s MSOLO instrument in collaboration with Magna Petra demonstrates the power of partnership between industry, government, and science. Together, we are extending humanity’s reach and unlocking the Moon’s potential to benefit Earth.”

This mission represents a unifying step forward for international lunar science and commercial exploration, fusing NASA’s technological legacy with Magna Petra’s vision to operationalize Helium-3 as the foundation for clean, scalable fusion power and advanced quantum infrastructure.

About Magna Petra Corp.

Magna Petra Corp. is developing the world’s first 100-year Helium-3 supply chain—fueling the future of fusion energy, quantum computing, and national security. Earth’s limited reserves of Helium-3 are already constraining critical technologies; the Moon, exposed to the solar wind for billions of years, holds vast quantities of this rare isotope. Magna Petra’s LunarPro™ extraction systems and AI-based resource modeling enable non-destructive, energy-efficient recovery of Helium-3 from lunar regolith. With NASA partnerships, strong capitalization, and world-class technical leadership, Magna Petra is not just mining the Moon—it is securing the resources that will power the next century of human advancement.
